The product comes surfaced with either smooth polymeric film (for waterproofing and underlayment of roof membrane) or coarse mineral granules (for cap sheets of roof membrane). Brief description of the technical parameters of Technoelast is given below. The finish of protective (granular) surfacing conforms to the modern architectural concepts, thus allowing to apply the membrane on visible parts of the roof or waterproofing work without additional expenditure on improvement of external appearance. Salient Features of the Product Due to the outstanding adhesive properties of SBS-modified bitumen, Technoelast may be torch-applied on virtually any type of horizontal, slanting or vertical substrate made of non-flammable material (cement-sand screed, mineral fiber boards etc.) Compatibility with oxidized bitumen allows to use Technoelast for renovation of even old tar paper roofing.
