SBS-modified polymer-bitumen roofing material in rolls for single-ply roof membranes partially-adhered on the underside (to allow air vents for release of water vapor).
Salient Features of the Product
The product is designed for installation of new roof membranes in all climatic regions on any type of deck, including wet substrate. Heavy polyester scrim base renders excellent strength and dimensional stability to the membrane. Technoelast Vent ensures proper distribution of water vapor under the membrane. Vapor is generally released through air vents.
Application Procedure
- Deck surface shall be cleaned of dirt and dust and coated with bitumen primer.
- Roof membrane is made with a single layer of Technoelast Vent.
- In addition the membrane can be mechanically secured in the overlap areas.
- Flashings and other roofing elements are made of Technoelast grades EKP (TKP) and EPP (HPP).
- In installation of roof membrane special care should be given to the overlaps and the areas of air vents funnels.
