UNIFLEX VENT class "PREMIUM", "BUSINESS"
SBS-modified polymer-bitumen roofing material in rolls for two-ply vented (breathing) roof membranes partially-adhered on the underside (to allow air vents for release of water vapor).
Salient Features of the Product
The product can be used for construction of new roof membranes on any type of deck, including wet substrate. Unifleks Vent ensures that water vapors are distributed under the membrane.
Application Procedure
- Use Unifleks EKP (TKP) or Technoelast EKP (TKP) as the cap sheet.
- The underlayment is made with one layer of Uniflex Vent.
- Air vents are generally used to release vapor from the membrane.
- Deck surface should be cleaned of dirt and dust and coated with bitumen primer.
- In addition the membrane may be mechanically secured in the overlap areas.
- Flashings and other roofing elements are made of Unifleks and Technoelast grades EKP (TKP) and EPP (HPP).
- In installation of roof membrane special care should be given to overlaps and the areas of air vents funnels.
