Product Modifications The product comes surfaced either with smooth polymeric film (for waterproofing and underlayment of roof membrane) or coarse mineral granules (for cap sheets of roof membrane). Following is the brief description of Unifleks technical parameters. The finish of protective (granular) surfacing conforms to the modern architectural concepts, thus allowing to apply the membrane on visible parts of the roof or waterproofing work without additional expenditure on improvement of external appearance. Scope of Application Due to the outstanding adhesive properties of SBS-modified bitumen Uniflex may be torch-applied on virtually any type of horizontal, slanting or vertical substrate made of non-flammable material (cement-sand screed, mineral fiber boards etc.) Compatibility with oxidized bitumen allows to use Uniflex for renovation of even old tar-paper roofing.
