Ecofleks is made of rot-resistant reinforcing base (fiberglass scrim, glass fabric or non-woven polyester scrim) coated with 3 to 5 kg of high-quality bitumen blend modified with plastomeric and elastomeric additives. The use of additives results in superior properties of the product as compared with bitumen membranes: Ecoflex is heat-resistant up to +120-130°C and remains flexible at –5°C.

| Application Procedure |
|
Ecofleks is applied in single layer for renovation of existing roof membrane, or in two layers – for installation of new roof membrane or overhauling. The finish of protective (granular) surfacing conforms to the modern architectural concepts, thus allowing to apply the membrane on visible parts of the roof or waterproofing work without additional expenditure on improvement of external appearance.

Owing to its excellent adhesive properties Ecoflex may be torch-applied on virtually any type of non-flammable substrate (cement-sand screed, mineral fiber boards etc.) Compatibility with oxidized bitumen allows to use Ecoflex for renovation of even old tar-paper roofing.
