OSB Technology
Our raw material is 100 % pine. Almost 100 % of a tree is used to produce the OSB. The major part of our energy is recovered from burned residues, another positive feature reducing the green-house effect.
Long thin flakes (strands) are used in 3 cross-oriented layers. This practice, known from plywood and the overlapping of the 95 mm long and 0.65 mm thick strands guarantees dimensional stability and vey high mechanical performance. The careful drying process of the strands results in a light-coloured board. Compression is done under high pressure and high temperature with very little addition of resin.
