WATER-DISPERSIVE PRIMER FOR METALS
EGIDA is dyer’s system for preventation, limitation or stopping the destroying of ferrous and non-ferrous metal surfaces, under impact of humidity, aggressive steams and other.
EGIDA primer is developed on the base of acrylic water dispersions, anticorrosive pigments and fillers (zinc-phosphate, chromate, etc.), additions and corrosion inhibitors.
Application:
EGIDA is intended for protection from corrosion of rust-cleaned and degreased metallic surfaces at machine-building, housing-building and living style.
Regarding it’s technical features EGIDA is an alternative of alkyd anti-corrosive primer and is a novelty being ecologically clean product.
EGIDA produces at white, oxide-red, gray and green color. At client desire, could be produced in other colors too.

EGIDA’S PRIORITIES:
- fast drying;
- organic solvent absence;
- opportunity to be recovered with water-based or organic-solvent paints.
A method of work:
EGIDA applies by roller, brush or spray gun. When spraying, are recommended at least two layers of coating. It can be watered down not more than 2%. Recommended coat thickness of dry coating is 40-60 microns.
Consumption:
The consumption depends of the color and is from 150 to 200 g/m2.
Packing:
EGIDA is packed in plastic wrapping of 1 and 20 kg.
Another suitable wrapping can be used, if negotiated with the client.
Storage and warranty period:
EGIDA stores at closed storages, at temperatures from 5°Ñ to 30°Ñ.
The fitness is guarantied 12 months due to date of production.
